Grade A, B, or C: which condition to choose for your needs
Cosmetic condition does not affect technical reliability — here's how to choose the right balance of price and appearance.
In short: Grade is about appearance, not reliability
All devices at Lapto.de, regardless of Grade, undergo the same technical inspection and receive the same 12-month warranty (more details in a separate article on warranty conditions). The only difference is in the cosmetic condition of the casing and display.
When Grade C is sufficient
If the laptop will be used at home, in the office at a desk, or as a secondary device — cosmetic signs of use do not interfere with daily work. This is the most cost-effective option in terms of price/technical condition.
When to choose Grade A or B
If the laptop will represent you to clients (consultations, meetings, presentations) or if aesthetic appearance is simply important — Grade A or B look like a new device.
What does not depend on Grade
Technical configuration (processor, RAM, storage), warranty, and pre-sale inspection are the same for all Grades. You do not sacrifice reliability by choosing a cheaper Grade.
How to choose a Grade at Lapto.de
On each product card in the Lapto.de catalog, a specific Grade is indicated with a description of visible signs of use — you can compare several options of the same model before purchasing.
